Ok. So before I get to the big news, I'd just like to say thank you so much to all of you who responded to my request for feedback via this blog, Facebook messaging, and texts. Really, thank you! All help in this craziness of mine is greatly appreciated. If you haven't done so yet, there's no time limit to respond!
Now for what I really want to tell you. It's been a busy week for me. I like to impose deadlines on myself for no discernible reason. If you know why, please get in touch. Anyway, I convinced myself that I HAD to finish my second book this week. After many hours spent locked in my room, The Guilt of the Innocent is now complete (as a first draft, of course) at 495 pages! I'm super psyched about it and plan to celebrate by avoiding anything related to Fulorn this weekend and possibly longer.
To recap, I now have two books in The Kinmark Saga at least in draft form, and the series as a whole is up to 880 pages! In other words, I've written a pair of books which, combined, are almost as long as a George RR Martin doorstopper. But it only took me six months, George! Seriously, can't we get the next ASOIAF book already? I don't want to see Bran warg into a dragon on HBO before I read about Euron turning into Daario or Arya killing the whole world. Nerd alert!
