As you know, The Last Kinmark is coming out September 1, and I've been uploading sample chapters. The feedback I've been getting has been fantastic so far, and I thank you all for the support! Here's the thing though, I'm uploading the book on Amazon through their KDP Select program. That means I get a few perks in exchange for exclusively using their website to make the book available. That's no problem as they dominate the ebook market anyway.
However, part of that exclusivity is that I can't even upload more than 10% of the book on my own website once I put the book on Amazon. So, out of the 12 chapters I'm putting on here in the coming days (I added one for reasons I'll explain later), only 6 will be able to stay up past Saturday the 29th when I officially submit the book to Amazon. If you're reading along as I put the chapters up, that's no problem. The last one will be here on Thursday the 27th. But, if you're planning on waiting to read them all at once, then you'd have to do so by the 29th when I officially submit to Amazon (which will probably happen in the morning).
That's where the deal comes in. I'm not bashful about wanting people to sign up for my newsletter. It's the primary way for me to know I can make you aware of new releases in the future. I also want you to be able to read the 12 sample chapters at your convenience. I'm sure you see where this is going. Sign up for my newsletter, and I'll send you a pdf of chapters 1-12. This obviously also helps those of you who don't like only being able to read a few pages at a time. It's a win-win-win!
Once you sign up here, I'll most likely have the pdf to you within a few hours. Mailchimp doesn't allow automated responses for free accounts, so it's just a matter of when I check it and see a new subscriber. If you intend to do this, you need to do so before the 29th because Amazon's exclusivity also extends to sending out the book via email.
Also, I should probably tell you that I intend to release sample chapters from The Guilt of the Innocent in September only through my newsletter. Just another reason to sign up!
