Hey everybody, as you know, I'm set to self-publish my first novel in a couple weeks. It's a fantasy book called The Last Kinmark, and it begins a series called The Kinmark Saga. Now, my hope is that all of you will read it and love it. After all, having repeat customers is what will allow this to really take off as a career. However, I know it's a lot to ask you to buy and read a debut novel by an unknown author. Even those of you who know me don't know if I'm a terrible writer.
I want to change that. I want you to be informed before you make the decision to buy or not buy my book. So, what I'm going to do is put up a few sample chapters from The Last Kinmark. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to put up chapter one. After that, I'm going to put up a chapter a day for ten days. These eleven chapters make up part one of three in the book. Eleven chapters may seem like a lot, but my chapters are pretty short. I only include one scene in a chapter, and most of them end up being about five pages long. There are sixty-six chapters in the whole book.
If nothing else, I hope you'll return tomorrow and give my first chapter a try. I think you'll like it. If not, all you'll have lost is five minutes of your time. Have a happy Sunday!
