The Story of Bookland is my first series set outside of Fulorn. It is now complete, and all four novels are available on Amazon through the link to your right.
Unlike my Fulorn novels and novellas, The Story of Bookland is not a completely serious fantasy tale. While I don't want to discount the story itself as merely comedic, it is certainly told through that lens. At its heart, this series is designed to be a parody of the fantasy genre and many of its better-known works. That fact should not, however, take away from the story being told amidst all the hidden and inside jokes. The Story of Bookland is as real a story as any I've written. Like always, the characters I create must fight and make hard choices that will affect more than their own lives. I simply know no other way to write.
